WSJ 2019 – Contingent Leaders

3 October 2017

An amazing adventure awaits!

Every four years 30,000 young people from across the world join together to enjoy new adventures; they experience a new country interacting with each other, gaining confidence, meeting new friends and having a life changing adventure; and its not just the young people who can get in on the action.

Cornwall Scouts have been awarded 27 places for our young people at the 24th World Scout Jamboree – West Virginia, North America and we need Three Contingent leaders to support them on their journey from fundraising, working as a unit and together representing Cornwall in 2019.
If you have ever wanted to do something amazing and have an experience of a lifetime – this could be YOUR opportunity

You will need to be available for training weekends and fundraising events over the course of the next two years with attendance at the Jamboree from the 22nd July – 2 August 2019.

Previous experience of overseas expeditions is not necessary, just a willingness to learn and support 27 young people on their great adventure.
