Don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten about our younger sections. We know that in 2013 we provided an awesome taste of Jamboree life to hundreds of Cubs and Brownies, we’re looking forward to welcoming some of them back as Scouts and Guides in 2017.
Our Brownie & Cub day in 2017 will offer the same chance to explore the site and try out some of our exciting activities.
Groups to arrive for 9.30am start
A short welcome at the main stage followed by activities at 10am
The activities will run in a rotation around the site until pickup at 5pm with breaks for lunch, time to explore and a chance to visit the Jamboree shop.
Throughout the day the Cubs and Brownies will visit the Adventure zone (activities up in the trees, underground or whizzing past on a go cart), Bushcraft and Survival Skills area, Creative craft activities and the Air Zone (bouncy castle etc).
The cafe, tuck shop and merchandise shop will be open across the day.
Parents dropping off/collecting or coaches should follow the signs to the Jamboree/Pencarrow House and use the one way system.
(Don’t go down the Nine Ashes Drive!)
Costs for the Day:
Cubs & Brownies £15 (includes a special visitor day badge for your uniform and some Jamboree goodies)
Leaders & Adult Helpers one free place for each 6 young people attending (includes a visitor day badge)
