The Cornwall Development team is a support service to all the members of Cornwall Scouting, and available to:

• Support the creation of new scouting opportunities and to enhance existing Scouting provision.
• Support local development ambassadors to take the lead in inspired projects , potential youth partnerships and local development initiatives
• Encourage, support and advise where required
• Promote local scouting news through media opportunities
• Assist in the recruitment and retention of young people and adults
• Advise on fundraising opportunities and grant applications
• Assist on the use of branded scouting material and resources
• Promote the Cornwall mobile display unit (MDU)
• Develop county partnerships and new initiatives
